Rivas Vaciamadrid

To transform the municipality of Rivas Vaciamadrid into a self-sufficient energy community, R2M and the local City Council are developing a Global Energy Community (GEC).

R2M’s role:

Development of a photovoltaic potential study for the entire municipality. Design of a municipal-scale Energy Community model with a limited company (S.L.) legal structure. Techno-economic study for the establishment of a municipal energy retailer. Preparation of an investment concept (study and report) for the EUCF – European City Facility.
