HESTIA

HESTIA is a project that develops a combination of technological, innovative, and social sciences and humanities modeling approaches.

R2M’s role:

We act as the Innovation Managers of the project. We contribute to HESTIA by leading the validation and exploitation work package (WP7), which includes defining the validation methodology, managing intellectual property rights, and conducting market analysis. We lead the planning for the scalability and replication of the solutions for the “follower” communities.

Additionally, we contribute building models (such as grey-box models) for optimized predictive control algorithms, establishing the link between advanced optimization algorithms and the real control of on-site equipment (WP4). We also support the definition of data protection and security measures for the HESTIA platform (WP5). Finally, we coordinate cooperation and clustering activities related to cross-cutting aspects (WP8).
