H2tALENT

H2tALENT establishes an innovative green hydrogen valley in Alentejo (Portugal) to expand its use and accessibility. The project introduces initiatives across the entire value chain to improve efficiency and safety, extending to distribution. In addition, it creates a global network among hydrogen valleys to optimize data collection and promote scalability.

Executive summary:

Novel initiatives are needed to mitigate climate change-related phenomena by taking protective actions or using innovative energy sources and fuel vectors. In this context, the EU-funded H2tALENT project will establish an innovative hydrogen valley in Alentejo, Portugal, using novel solutions and substantial investment to expand the use and accessibility of “green” hydrogen. To achieve this goal, the project will introduce several initiatives across the hydrogen valley value chain aimed at improving efficiency and safety, extending to distribution. Finally, the project will establish a global network among hydrogen valleys to enhance data collection and refinement and promote scalability.

R2M’s role:

We act as innovation managers, leading the communication, dissemination, and exploitation of the project’s results. Our responsibilities include creating the H2tALENT project identity and communication materials, developing the communication and dissemination plan, and identifying, evaluating, and managing exploitable results. We are also responsible for developing intellectual property protection plans, agreements, and exploitation strategies to ensure success and maximize market impact.
